Load Level Installation
We added a load leveling system to the tow wagon and found this to be of an advantage in stopping the bouncing effect when on uneven roads. A system was picked up from Trademe for a reasonable price and fitted to the vehicle.
A lever to attach chains to van was made out of 20mm galv water pipe and a short piece of 25mm strap steel.
A bend was made in the pipe near the end and the strap steel welded on the end in a U shape so that it fitted over the spring and could be pined in place to lift the spring.
The bend was necessary to make hand clearance and easy fitting of the lever to the spring.
